The R&D Lab to Market Pavilion hosted India’s leading R&D institutions, showcasing technologies and original IP with the potential to be commercialized as impactful products and services, reducing import dependence. Premier institutes such as IIIT-Bangalore, IIAP, BIRAC, C-DAC Pune, C-DOT, DRDO, CSIR–SERC, CSIR–4Pi, RRI Bengaluru, NIXI–MeitY, and C-DAC Bangalore participated in this pavilion.
Product Launch 4.0 at BTS 2025 will build on the success of last year’s showcase, where over 50 groundbreaking products were unveiled by startups across sectors. This year, the platform returns with greater scale and visibility, offering a powerful launchpad for next-gen innovations to debut before a global audience of investors, industry leaders, media, and policymakers.
The Department’s flagship event, Bengaluru Tech Summit (BTS), is held annually, and this year will feature the 4th edition of the Product Launch during BTS 2025.
Product Launch 4.0 will build upon the success of the previous edition, which showcased over 50 groundbreaking products from startups across various sectors. This year’s edition aims to provide a larger and more prominent platform, offering startups a unique opportunity to unveil their innovations before a global audience comprising investors, industry leaders, media, and policymakers.
The innovative products and solutions received are multi-disciplinary and sector-agnostic, spanning domains such as IT/ITeS, Agri-Tech, Med-Tech, Healthcare, Clean-Tech, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Deep Tech, Blockchain, IoT, Cybersecurity, SaaS, R&D, Satcom Technologies, AVGC, and ESDM. These include electronic devices leveraging AI and IoT, solutions in automotive manufacturing, avionics and defence, effluent air treatment, SaaS platforms, fraud-prevention applications, digital theatre platforms, smart warehousing systems, satcom solutions, and deep tech-based quality assessment platforms.
As part of BTS 2025, the Department will launch 51 innovative products by the Shri Priyank Kharge, Hon’ble Minister for Electronics, IT, Bt, RDPR, GoK.

The Annual STPI IT Export Awards were presented on Day 2 of the event to high-achieving IT companies from Karnataka’s IT sector for their performance during the 2024–25 financial year. Awards across various categories—such as High Growth in IT/ITES Exports – Karnataka; Best Performers in Tier II & Tier III Regions; Electronic Hardware; Highest New Jobs Creator; Highest Growth in Women Employment; Highest Exports per Employee; IT Pride of Karnataka in Electronic Hardware Exports; IT Pride of Karnataka in IT/ITES Exports; and IT Ratna of Karnataka—were presented on the evening of 19th November 2025 in a grand STPI IT Export Awards 2025 ceremony during the Bengaluru Tech Summit 2025. The Sustainable Stall Award celebrated exhibitors who demonstrated exceptional commitment to eco-friendly practices and sustainability-focused innovation. This included adopting environmentally conscious stall designs, responsibly utilizing resources, minimizing waste, and actively promoting environmental awareness. The 26th edition of TCS Rural IT Quiz is being conducted by Dept. of Electronics, IT, BT and S&T, GoK in partnership with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) as a integral part of the BTS event for more than 2 decades. This year, the quiz attracted participation from over 5.62 lakh students from smaller towns in India. Open to students from classes 8 to 12, the program included online tests, virtual rounds, and physical quiz competitions. The national finals assessed students' knowledge in technology through five engaging segments. The eight regional finalists who qualified for the national finals included:

TCS Rural IT Quiz is one of the flagship programs conducted by Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) in partnership with the Department of Electronics, IT, BT, Govt. of Karnataka as part of the BTS event. The program was initiated in the year 2000 and has reached over 21.5 million students till date.
India’s longest running rural tech quiz returns to BTS 2025 after a grand Silver Jubilee in 2024. The program empowers rural students with IT literacy for a tech driven world. The National Finals at BTS will feature top student champions from across the country in an exciting showdown.
